A low-cost loan will be available to all HUDFCU members in good standing. Full underwriting will be required, and credit will be pulled. Proof of employment/furlough letter will be required. Disbursement will be made after the first payroll is missed.
Members with certain HUDFCU loans will be able to skip their monthly payments with no fee. Members must be within existing skip-a-pay limits with respect to number of skips per year.
In the event of a shutdown, members will have to make appointments to come into the branch by noon on the day before they desire to stop in. Members are asked to call 202-863-2800 or email admin@hudcu.org to arrange an appointment. Members will not be let into the building unless they have made an appointment.

PLEASE NOTE: In case of a shutdown, update your email with HUDFCU in online banking from your hud.gov email address to your personal one so that you can check it remotely from outside the HUD organization.
